Users following is a tutorial explaining how to install Theeta CMS on your server.


If any error occurs while installing, please follow the instructions or if you can not fix the error, send us and email at sales@mntechsolutions.net or join our community and post a help post.

After you have uploaded your files to your server using a ftp software, enter the link of your copy of Theeta CMS in the address bar of your browser.

For example: http://www.worldofpakistan.net/sitecms/

Where sitecms is the directory's name which contains Theeta CMS files.

You will be redirected to the installation page. Click the install button located on the menu.

You will then be redirected to the terms page. Select the option agree and click the next step button.

You will be redirected to the page where you will be asked to edit the config.php.

For example the file will be located at,

http://www.worldofpakistan.net/sitecms/config.php

Only make changes where you have been instructed to do so. Do not change anything else or Theeta CMS will not work properly.

After editing config.php upload the file again to your server.

Click the next step button to proceed.

You will be redirected to the page showing you the status of the tables that were created. If a table was created successfully then you will be able to success written on the right with green background, else failed with red background will be displayed.

Click the next button if all the tables have been created successfully.

You will be redirected to the configuration page. Enter all fields correctly.

Click the next step button to proceed.

You will be redirected to a page telling you that all the values have been filled in the database. You will also be informed that your website will be registered at www.mntechsolutions.net for our own records. Click the next step button.

You will be redirected to a page telling you of the success of the registeration. Also you will be asked to delete or rename the installation folder's name. This is for security reasons, and you will not be allowed to continue if you do not delete or rename the installation folder. Click the next step button.

Finally your website has been created. You will be redirected to a page where given your login details and some site information and the link to the home page.

Save your login information somewhere safe.

Click the Home link to go to your website's homepage.
